Mini Crossword online

This is a small crossword on a 5×5 grid. Ordinary clues, familiar words, and it only takes a few minutes, so it fits nicely into a coffee break or a commute. There's a new one every day and everyone gets the same puzzle, which means you can compare times with friends.

How to play

Tap a square and type the answer to the clue shown above the grid. Tap the same square again to switch between across and down. On a phone you get the game's own keyboard, and on a computer you just type, moving around with the arrow keys and Tab. Once the grid is full, the game checks your answers by itself.

Stuck? You can reveal a letter or a whole word, or check the grid to see what's wrong. The crossword still counts, you just won't get the no-help achievement that time.
